Tips for a successful online consultation:

  • We recommend using a laptop or computer. You will need your hands free and be able to move around during the assessment.
  • Find a quiet space for the duration of your appointment where you will not be interrupted and you feel free to talk about your issues.
  • You may need space to be able to lay down, walk around, move your arms and legs freely. Also think about the set up position of your computer so that we can observe you fully.
  • Make sure the area you are in is safe and free from obstacles that may impede your assessment, e.g, rugs or too much furniture near by etc.
  • Make sure your mobile phone is fully charged in case we need you to use your phone at any stage in the session.

At the start of your online session we will need to complete the following safety checks:

  • Confirm your identity (for new clients only). Please have photo ID ready, e.g. passport or drivers licence.
  • Confirm your phone number and the number of your next of kin, in case you are alone in your location for your consult.
  • Confirm the address of your location for your consultation, including the Eircode.
  • Confirm the name and phone number of your GP.
