Ciara Walsh
Ciara graduated from the Northumbria University in 2010 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. She is a registered member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.

In 2011, Ciara began working in the NHS in Manchester. For over 3 years she worked in a variety of settings, completing rotations in areas such as Neurology/Gerontology, Respiratory/ICU, Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal/ Outpatients. During this time, she acquired experience in diagnosing, treating and managing a variety of conditions such as sports injuries, whiplash, arthritis, post-operative rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, neurological disorders, and chronic pain. During this time she became a fully qualified APPI instructor, teaching pilates privately and as part of her work day. She continued this when she worked in New Zealand for over a year.

Since her return to Ireland in 2016, Ciara has worked within the HSE with adults with a variety of long term conditions. She has helped set up and run falls prevention classes. She has recently started a part time Masters in Older Persons Rehabilitation in UCC.
Ciara herself has a strong sporting interest, where she continues to play ladies football with her local club. She has previously won five All Irelands with Cork Ladies Football.
