Sport has always been a part of my life and one of my earliest memories is training down in my local GAA club for camogie before heading to the track for athletics. My interest in sprinting first came about when myself and my cousins had to run from a neighbour’s vicious dog…and I realised that I was the fastest escapee! From there I progressed onto winning a number of All-Ireland 100m sprints. More recently I ran middle and long distance competitively with Leevale AC.
When I studied physiotherapy in Jordanstown, musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy were always my passion. I have worked with many athletes, and non-athletes, and get a buzz from seeing them progressing and being able to manage to “come back” successfully from their injuries. I have a very friendly and compassionate approach and am proud to base my treatments on current evidence.
