Do I need to attend an Initial Physiotherapy Assessment to attend your classes?2019-11-05T10:47:38+00:00

Yes.

Pilates Physiotherapy Cork is a physiotherapy clinic first and foremost. Our extensive range of classes and rehab sessions complement our physiotherapy treatments and are designed specifically for the improvement of your physical condition.

When clients avail of our classes and rehab sessions, it is essential that we, as the class Chartered Physiotherapists, have a full and complete understanding of our clients needs and requirements.

As a result we require all new clients to our clinic to attend an Initial Physiotherapy Assessment first.

The benefits of an initial assessment are outlined elsewhere in our FAQ.

What are the benefits of an Initial Physiotherapy Assessment?2019-11-05T10:45:51+00:00

Your Initial Physiotherapy Assessment allows us to fully understand your individual physical condition, history and abilities. During the session your Chartered Physiotherapist will identify your needs and work with you to set your goals. You will get advice and a recommendation of the most appropriate class or intervention for you.

If you are recommended to join a class, your Chartered Physiotherapist will use the information gathered from your Initial Physiotherapy Assessment to monitor your progress and modify your exercises accordingly. This ensures you can progress safely and get the most benefit from your class.
